ABSTRACT
Metro Regency Juanda is one of settlements in Sedati Area, Sidoarjo Regency with relatively high occupancy rates. This leads to an increase in traffic movement coming from the region. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to determine the factors that affect the number of trips generated by housing and tje magnitude of the influence of these factors. Based on the total number of households in Metro Regency Juanda, samples of 11 households were being taken. The independent variables consist of the number of family members (X1), average family income (X2), vehicle ownership (X3), number of family members who work (X4), and numbers of family members attending school (X5). The model shows there is a strong correlation between number of trips and number of family member who work, also between number of trips and number of family members attending school.
