ABSTRACT
Tanjung Sari Road is the primary collector road that connects Jember Regency and Banyuwangi Regency. The length of the road is 950 meters with a 2/1 UD road type. Based on visual observations, there is damage to the pavement along Jalan Tanjung Sari. The research objective is to identify the level of road damage and the type of handling. The percentage of vehicles passing was heavy vehicles (HV) 41.58%, light vehicles (LV) 22.57%, and motorcycles (MC) 35.85%. This study used the Dirgolaksono and Indrasurya B. Mochtar (D and M) methods to determine the road condition assessment. Three types of main components are assessed in this method, namely the value of road damage, drainage conditions, and riding quality. The results of the analysis show that the condition of the Tanjung Sari road is moderate and damaged, the riding quality is very bad, and the drainage conditions are bad. Recommendations for repairing road damage on Jalan Tanjung Sari are light and moderate maintenance and improvement of drainage conditions.
