ABSTRACT

Flooding is a problem that is often faced in certain areas, such as what happened in Kali Lamong. Kali Lamong has a river length of approximately 103 km and a width of 50 m. The area of the Kali Lamong watershed is 720 km2 . The Lamong River empties into the Madura Strait. The flooding that occurred in Kali Lamong is estimated to be due to back water and the cross section of the river that is no longer able to accommodate the current flow. In this study, an analysis of the flooding that occurred and alternative solutions to problems caused by the flood will be carried out. From the results of the study, it is found that it is necessary to build embankments along the river to control floods that occur in Lamong River. Flood control planning uses flood discharge at a 25 year return period. The study was conducted by dividing several segments of the watershed. The height of the embankment obtained from the analysis is 2-5 meters
