ABSTRACT

The problem of global warming and the damage to the ozone layer is very worrying, especially in buildings that function as places of academic activity, buildings that support academic activities should have standards to support the reduction of global warming, environmentally friendly, safe for their users and ensure comfort for building users. The Medical Faculty lecture building is a building that serves as a place for lectures, seminars, and academic offices, and all academic support activities must immediately carry out a green building assessment to determine the rank of the green building obtained. This study was conducted to determine the assessment in every detail of the categories that have been set by the GBCI (Green Building Council Indonesia. The method used in this study is to conduct interviews with the building management and to measure the temperature, noise, light intensity, and humidity of the room. The values obtained in each category will be calculated using the Matlab application with the Fuzzy Logic method. In this study, the building of the Medicine Faculty of the University of Jember received a silver rating with 51.9 points.
